Voskresenskoye village, Volgograd region 1939-1984
A Kazakhstan graphic artist, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, and laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of the Kazakh SSR. He was born on February 10, 1939 (according to some sources, February 10, 1940) in the village of Voskresenskoye, Volgograd Region. Makum Kisamedinov graduated from the N. Gogol Almaty Art College, and in 1967 from the Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute, after which he returned to Kazakhstan. He was passionate about fencing and became a Master of Sport in 1961. He was married and had a son, Manas. He passed away in 1984 at the age of 44.
