Born on April 29, 1970, in Alma-Ata, to an architect and a musicologist. Participated in underground exhibitions of the Green Triangle group in the late 1980s. She graduated from KazGASU with a degree in architectural environmental design and won an international diploma project competition. She is a recipient of a Presidential Scholarship from the Republic of Kazakhstan and a member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan. She is known for her "Kazakh Chronicle" series, where she uses archival photography and painting to explore memory and identity. Since 2014, she has been developing the "Cellophane Painting" project, creating works from colorful plastic bags.
